How to Order
All of our beef is processed and inspected in an Alberta approved facility.
Upon Deposit:
$200 Deposit for a half beef
$400 Deposity for a whole beef
Current pricing for standard cuts is $7 per pound, hanging weight. Typical hanging weight per half beef 230-320 lbs.
This price takes the beef from our farm delivered to your door (Free delivery within 30 minutes of Lamont Alberta, and within Edmonton city limits).
A cut sheet will be supplied to you upon deposit. This will have standard cuts included.
Beef will be transported to an Alberta approved facility to be processed and inspected.
Beef is aged, cut, wrapped in plastic (optional but included in the price), then butcher paper, stamped & frozen, ready for pickup or delivery.
Hanging weight is different than live weight. Hanging weight is the weight of the animal after it has been slaughtered and is on the rack, ready to be processed. Aging and processing will reduce the amount of packaged (take home) weight.
Typical packaged (take home) weight for a half beef varies but on average is 165-220 lbs cut and wrapped.
*Grain finishing is available at an additional expense, upon request.
